Looks rough, but I’ve tried to tackle worse. It all depends on what you want in the end. If you’re ok with a ratty bike that works, it might be worth it, but if you want a showroom bike, then I’d pass. You’d be amazed at the things you can revive just by taking them apart, cleaning, then putting it back together, and two strokes are really simple and cheap. I’d say the biggest things to worry about on it are making sure the bottom end isn’t rusted, and if you can find a replacement piston and rings for cheap. If that checks out then a lot of good cleaning will probably get it operational again.
That Yamaha gt80, sounds like an air leak, could be, could be, an easy fix, a good look over would tell you more.

chain looks to be the worst of it. rest is just a little surface rust.

That’s good, how hard is it to replace a motorcycle chain?

easy in theory, hard then youd think IRL. if you have a clip type master link, an hour? if you dont...have fun.

Riveted master link doesn’t take any longer, but you gotta borrow a riveter...

theoretically. every times i’ve had to change a chain its take an extra 20 minutes compared to the link that I had on in 30 seconds.
